Vietnam is struggling to produce enough energy to promote economic development. Vietnam's electricity consumption growth rate is twice of the country's economic growth. Generating capacity in the country is expected to be an annual growth rate of 14% from 2015 to 2030.
Fossil fuel energy consumption in Vietnam is still dominant. According to World Bank statistics, more than 66.2 percent of the country's energy comes from fossil fuels. In response to the rapid growth in demand for electricity in Vietnam is taking to build more coal-fired power plants and purchase electricity from neighboring China and other measures to avoid outages.
Vietnam needs to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, also need to build a renewable energy particularly solar energy sector focused, it is also good for portable solar power generator.
In order to move towards a clean energy economy of Vietnam's roads, the government plans to reduce by 30% of coal consumption by 2030. The Government is also open to foreign investors in renewable energy, allowing them to invest in power generation. Official data show that in 2013, foreign investors installed power generation capacity of the total investment 6% through the construction - operation- transformation mode.

Vietnam's goal is to produce enough energy to supply almost all of the family by 2030, the proportion of the national use of residential solar home reaches 50 percent by 2050, this situation is beneficial for LiFePO4 battery pack too.
